Building a 1963 Vintage Lake Placid Blue Telecaster - Overview of the Complete Process

I used copper foil with a sticky back to shield the pickup and switch cavities. A few simple cuts and some crafty layering. It doesn't have to be perfect and do not try to cover any of the openings with one piece. I usually cut one piece for the bottom then measured the height of the cavity and cut a strip wide enough to be "wrapped" around the sides of each cavity.
