Building a 1963 Vintage Lake Placid Blue Telecaster - Dressing the Frets

Although not pictured I used a steel ruler as my straight-edge. I placed the edge of the ruler on the frets to determine if they all were level. Before I started the fret work I checked the neck for straightness using the Stew-Mac notched neck ruler (see the Neck section for pictures and info).
