You can see the area where the finish came off . The more I looked at it the more miffed I got…I ended up simply using a Q-tip and applied a few coats of polyurethane finish to the small area. I didn't bother buffing or sanding between coats - the area was quite small and my repair did not affect the playability of the guitar. It just sucks to have the finish peel off a $300 neck…
